Big birthday, small wedding, retirement do, or an epic Wednesday — we’ve got the space, the kitchen and the enthusiasm to make it one to remember.

The spaces

The Hopper Room — our room upstairs, with its own bar and AV system. Seats 65, or 100 standing. 

The Dining Room — semi-private, steps from the main bar. Seats 30, or 40 standing. 

The Courtyard — covered and heated, great for drinks or the match. 25–30 people. 

The Garden — catches the sun all day; bookable for groups large and small.

We offer free room hire for most events and minimum spends for bigger events start from far friendlier than you might expect, and every penny goes on staff, food and drink.

Whatever the occasion

Celebrations. Birthdays, engagements, christenings, anniversaries — if it deserves a toast, it deserves a room. We’ll help with food, decorations and the running order.

Formal dinners. Our function room does a very good line in long tables and proper courses, without any fuss.

Celebrations of life. Saying goodbye to someone is hard; organising the wake shouldn’t be. We’ve had the honour of hosting farewells for some very fine folks, and we handle them with care.

A meeting place away from the office. Flipcharts, projectors, printing, fast WiFi and better coffee than the boardroom. Or if you just need a quiet corner and a laptop-friendly table, we have those too.
